John "Roy" Soderberg 417 Kelly Street, New Westminster, BC died on December 29th, 2018 at the Royal Columbian Hospital. Roy Soderberg was the son of John and Alfina Soderberg, who had immigrated from Finland during the late 1920's.  Roy was born at the Royal Columbian Hospital on February 26, 1937. He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother Bruce Soderberg. He is survived by cousins, Anita Nazaruk (Sorrento, BC) and Martin Pollard (Surrey, BC) and relatives in Finland. Roy's love for Architecture and Historical buildings directed him towards a career as a draftsman.  He worked and lived all of his life in the Lower Mainland. Family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and doctors in the ICU and HAU at the Royal Columbian Hospital. Funeral Service to be held on May 11, 2019 at 11:00 am at Kearney Columbia-Bowell Chapel, 219 6th Street, New Westminster, BC.
