With loving family at his side, Jack passed away peacefully at the age of 80 after a lengthy and valiant battle with Alzheimer’s. Predeceased by his wife Deloraine, his parents Alexander and Kristina, and son-in-law Robert, Jack is survived by his 5 children, Colleen (Gregg), Scott (Terri), Laura-Lynn (Scott), Jacqueline (Barry), and Rene, his eleven grandchildren; Curtis, Sean, Garrett, Vanessa, Brandon, Ryan, Ian, Jeremy, Tyler, Shaelan, and Jenny; two great-grandsons, Liam and Hunter, and his sisters; Lorraine and Carole, and his brother Stewart. Thank You to Dr. S. Howard, the entire Comfort Care staff at VGH, the staff at the German Canadian Care Home, and to Carole and Stewart for their amazing love and support. There will be a Celebration of his Life held on Saturday, January 18th, 2014 at the Jericho Sailing Centre, 2nd Floor - 1300 Discovery Street, Vancouver B.C. at 2:00 pm.
