John passed away on Wednesday surrounded by the love of his family. Even in his last moments, he never lost his keen sense of humour. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Helen of almost 57 years, his five daughters, Cathy (Melvin), Nancy (Laine), Susan (Earl), Cynthia (Dan) and Maureen (Daren), his 9 grandchildren and I great grandchild. John was a kind man and found many joys including sailing, enjoying the great outdoors and he had an exceptional love of Christmas and all that Christmas brings. In John’s honour, never lose your sense of humour and if possible please give to the B.C. Lung Association. A Memorial will take place on Saturday December  1st at 2:00 pm at Columbia-Bowell Chapel 219- 6 St., New Westminster
