It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother and wife, Joan Woodman Murphy (nee Taylor), a beautiful soul who was loved by many. She passed peacefully on September 22nd, with family by her side. Survived by her husband of 57 years Tom, her three loving children Michael, Colleen, and Tim, her grandchildren Matthew, Charlie, Josh, and Jackson. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Lorna, Cam, Frank, Dorothy, Nora, and Joyce.
Joan will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and loyalty. A fun-loving individual with a love for life and adventure, Joan was a stylish lady who always looked her best. She was a faithful member of her church, numerous clubs, and organizations where she made many wonderful friends. Her love of Christmas was unrivaled, and she poured her heart into it so that it was special for everyone. She enjoyed living life to the fullest and we find comfort in knowing she is in heaven watching over us.
A private Mass was held on September 25.
