Jean Hefferland

Jean passed away peacefully on March 26th, 2025, at New Vista Society Care Home at the age of 98. 

She is predeceased by her husband Jackie, all sons and daughters Raymond, John, Paul, Theresa, Mary, and Michelle. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, including relatives in Scotland. 

For many years Jean worked at the Army & Navy store at New Westminster within the fishing & sports dept. with many patrons learning from her tips & hot spots in the surrounding area. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter’s R. C. Church 330 Royal Avenue, New Westminster on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 10:00 am. Clergy Fr. Nick Meisl. Burial to follow at Fraser Cemetery. 

Flowers may be sent to the Church or in lieu, of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
