Richard, Patricia (nee Corrigan) and Cory Stout announce with sadness the unexpected passing of their son and brother, Jamie, on October 11, 2009 in Vancouver, BC aged 26 years. He is survived by many loving family members and friends from across Canada and the United States. Jamie will be forever remembered for his courage, his joy for life, his hard work and devotion to others, his infectious smile, his reaching out to anyone and everyone, his advocacy for those in need, and how he made wherever he lived, studied or worked a better place. The family would like to especially thank the wonderful staff and community of False Creek Residence that Jamie called home for the last four years where he lived out his dreams and goals of living an adult life �" independently and courageously. Prayers will be held at 7:30 pm on Thursday, October 15, 2009 in St. Augustine’s Church, 2028 West 7th Ave., Vancouver, where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, October 16, the Oblate Fathers celebrants.
