With heavy hearts and wonderful memories, we announce the passing of our much-loved Butch on September 13, 2015. He lived life to the fullest. His passions were his family, his partnership at Alfred Horie Construction (AHC), hunting, fishing, cooking and entertaining. His forever passion was sailing – he had just completed a 40 day sailing adventure, half of it solo, aboard his beloved Butch Cassidy. Butch is survived by his wife Betty, brothers Stephen (Janice), John (Mary) and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Vancouver Rowing Club (VRC) on Saturday, October 3, from 2-4 p.m.
