It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom.

She was born in Glen Levit, New Brunswick and lived most of her life in Campbellton, New Brunswick following her marriage in 1949.

Predeceased by husband Hector (Kip) Savoie, 1965 and sons John (Pam), 1992 and David, 2019, she is survived by children Joan (Ted) and Paul (Heather), grandchildren Sarah, Jacob, Cathy (Brad), and Bill, and great-grandson Axel.

Mom was a devout Catholic and had a great love for Mary, the rosary and St. Teresa of Little Flower. Everyone was welcome in her home.

She always had time for tea and there were always delicious cookies or cake to enjoy with it. Mom was a very talented lady.

She will be long remembered by her family and friends for her beautiful quilts, dresses, designer aprons, Christmas crafts, crochet, knitting projects and her divinity fudge. Mom moved to Vancouver in 2008 to live with Joan and her family. Due to advancing Alzheimer’s, Mom moved to Little Mountain Place in December 2018.

The wonderful care, attention and love that she received from the staff was amazing. Alas, her life ended early due to Covid.

A special thank you to her nurse practitioner, Amanda Crockett.

In keeping with Covid restrictions, a small Funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help on Thursday, December 31, 2020.

A Memorial Mass and interment will be held at a later date in Campbellton, New Brunswick to reunite Mom with Dad.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer Society in her name.
