Irene Mary Lehr (nee Tower) April 8, 1923 – October 21, 2010
Wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away in the early morning hours at Royal Columbian Hospital following a brief illness.
Irene was predeceased by husband Chris in 2007.  She will be fondly remembered by son Terry (Sandy) grandchildren Katherine (Gordon), Iris and Christina (Steve); daughter Dixie, grandchildren Robert (Andrea), Sharlene; daughter Iris (Don) grandchildren Alissa (David ) and Darren (Lisa) and eight great grandchildren.  Mom also leaves behind sisters Olive (Andy), Edna and Shirley and brother Ronald (Ethel).
For the last three years mom has thrived at Thornbridge Gardens.  Special thanks to Linda and all staff and friends there for making these last years memorable.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 30, 2010, 1 P.M. at Columbia-Bowell Chapel, 219 6th Street, New Westminster, BC.  A reception will follow.
