It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aieisha Li-Louis, who left this world on Oct 22 after a courageous battle with cancer. She lived a life filled with passion, joy, and an unbreakable spirit, leaving an unforgettable legacy for all who knew her.
Aieisha was truly a jack of all trades and a master of living life to the fullest. She had an undeniable zest for adventure and an extraordinary range of interests.
From racing motorcycles and snowboarding to skeet shooting, fishing, sailing, and showing her beloved Akita Inu dogs - Yoku and Yumi. She pursued each with boundless energy. Her love of the outdoors and thrill for life was matched only by her skill in the kitchen, where she was known for her delicious baked treats and home-cooked meals.
In her career, Aieisha was an accomplished Costume designer whose work was marked by creativity, skill, and dedication. She also enjoyed the open road, driving trucks and embracing the freedom that came with it. Her adventurous soul took her to so many places and into the lives of many people who were touched by her warmth, humour, and kindness.
She was a loving sister, friend, and community member whose spirit, laughter, and kindness will be missed deeply. Her courage and resilience through her illness have left a permanent mark on us all, reminding us to live boldly and without regret. She is survived by her mother Polly, and siblings, Jeffrey (Debbie), Valerie and Brendan. As well as countless friends and loved ones who were privileged to be part of her life.
A celebration of Aieisha’s life will be held on Nov 6th, 2024 between 5-8 p.m. at the Kearney Funeral Home (219-6th Street, New Westminster), where we will gather to honour her memory, share stories, and remember a truly remarkable woman who taught us all the meaning of living fully.
She showed us that love, passion, and authenticity are all that truly count in this world. May she rest in peace, knowing that she is forever loved and never forgotten.
