It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend Hubert Bohm. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Theresia, their sons Wolfgang (Anke) and Wilfred (Amanda), grandchildren Brittany (Matthew), Caitlin (Brian), Rebecca, Eric, Samantha, Elina, and Henrik, and great grandchildren David, Emily, and Isabelle. Hubert was born at Neusattel bei Saatz in the Sudetenland area of Czechoslovakia. Surviving the war and displacement, he settled in Frankfurt, Germany and then emigrated to Canada in 1955, settling in Vancouver. Hubert worked as a foreman in a nail factory for over 27 years. He married the love of his life Theresia in 1960. They raised their family in Richmond and Delta, and eventually retired to Chilliwack. Hubert was a quiet, kind, and gentle man with a sneaky, understated sense of humour. Family and friends far and wide will miss him and remember him fondly. In keeping with his wishes a private service for close family will be held.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
