Glen Larry McKim

Glen Larry McKim passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024 (age 81), at Broadway Pentecostal Lodge Care Home. 

Glen was born in Vernon, BC to the late Claude and Mary McKim, and grew up in Vernon, BC, with his sister Sharon Edwards. As a youth he enjoyed being a cadet and as a young man travelled to and worked on the East Coast, where he met Barbara Stultz (predeceased), and married in 1967. He adopted her first born daughter Lesley (Labbe) and had three more children together, Jeffrey (predeceased), Laura, and Jennifer (Ward). Glen later divorced, returned to and made Vancouver BC his home for 50 years. He is also survived by two nieces Lorelei and Melanie, and seven grandchildren, Derrick, Lindsey, Paul, Luc, Liam, Calum, and Wren. He was a quiet but kind soul. Heartfelt gratitude is extended to the dear Care-Staff at Broadway Pentecostal Lodge, where he resided in the last years of his life. 

A small Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
