Gerald Royle Hughes

Gerald Royle Hughes passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025, in Surrey, BC at the age of 92. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Gay, children Ardis, Brendan and Curtis and grandchildren Kajsa and Emmeli.

Gerald was a devoted husband and father and was very proud of his Engineering degree from the University of Washington. He loved to travel around the US and Canada visiting friends and relatives in his trailer with Gay and his faithful canine companion Skye.

Prayers will be offered Saturday, April 12th at the Evangelist Chapel, Gardens of Gethsemani Cemetery, 15694 – 32nd Avenue, Surrey BC., where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM, by Fr. John Kuriakose. Interment of cremated remains to follow immediately at 12:00PM. Brendan & Ardis Hughes extend an invitation to join them after the services at Morgan Creek Golf Course, Creekside Room at 12:30-3:00PM. Memories will be shared and luncheon offered. The Golf Course is located across the street from the Garden’s at 3500 Morgan Creek Way, Surrey BC.
