It is with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved George. Son to Eleni and Kostas, brother to Koula (Kostas), Lena (Jimmy), grandson to Magdalena, and loved by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Born on June 27, 1977, even from a young age George was always larger than life. From dressing up and doing skits for the family to dancing, singing, joking and rapping, he was always the brightest energy in the room. George worked for many years at the family business where he was at his best being a gracious host, making everyone feel welcome and special. Charismatic and truly one of a kind, George had the ability to touch so many lives. All who met him were drawn to his magnetic personality and were often left with a hilarious story to tell and a feeling of love and positivity. He was a genuine person who never judged the people he loved and was always there when you needed him no matter what. A self-proclaimed mamma’s boy, George found comfort living next door to her where he could be found binge-watching Netflix and listening to cheesy 80’s music. Always laughing and smiling it was impossible to feel anything but happy in his presence. He truly made a lasting impression on all he met. George’s spirit will continue to shine with all the countless stories he gave us to share. He leaves behind many people who loved him, and he will be missed dearly. Visitation will be held at Kearney’s Columbia-Bowell Chapel, 219 6th Street, New Westminster on Tuesday, November 6th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 7th at 1:00 p.m. at Kearney’s Columbia-Bowell Chapel.
