Genevieve (Jenny) Ciceri (née Puetz), 93, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2024, following the long goodbye of mixed dementia. She was our vibrant matriarch and set a beautiful example of familial love, faith, charity and kindness.

Jenny was born in 1931 in Humbolt, Saskatchewan, to Martha (Skalicky) and Quirin Puetz, the third of nine children. In 1954, Jenny met and married the love of her life, Rod (d.2003) and they shared 49 wonderful years of marriage.

Rod and Jenny created a loving home full of amazing memories for their girls: Jeanne (Damian), Carolynne (d. 2016) and Catherine; her grandchildren: Ryan (Elise), Colin (Kirsten), Julia (Sam) and Liam (Angela), Rachel and Sarah; and her great-grandchildren: Evelyn, Declan, Margaret, Anna, Charlotte and Isabelle. Mom will also be deeply missed by her sisters Rita, Martha, and her brother Doug. She touched the lives of many dear friends and extended family over the years.

Over the past eight years, Jenny was blessed with living in the Christian extended care community of Elim Village. We are so thankful for their loving care of Mom.

There will be a small family service in December, enabling all of her immediate family to attend. If you would like to make a donation in Jenny’s memory, please consider the Alzheimer’s Association of BC or a charity near to your heart.
