We remember Gaetano Felicella, whose spirit departed from us on October 20, 2024, at the age of 82.
Gaetano, born July 6, 1942, in Mariglianella, Napoli, Italia. He lived a rambunctious young life in Italy and travelled to Canada for the first time at the age of 20 in September of 1962, to visit his four older brothers that immigrated before him. His stay in Vancouver, Canada continued to be extended until he decided to remain in Canada and make a beautiful life for himself and became a Canadian Citizen in 1989.
Gaetano was a beacon of unwavering friendship and kindness and will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them - and if you knew him, you knew it. When his time came, he carried himself with dignity, strength and full of love for those who went before him. He will be dearly missed.
We invite all who cherished Gaetano to join us in a Ceremony of Remembrance on Friday, November 1st, 2024, at Kearney Burnaby Chapel at 4715 Hastings Street, Burnaby, at 10:00 am where we can share stories, laughter and tears, just as Guy would have wished.
