Fred was born in Laichingen, Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1957. He passed away at home in Vancouver, BC. Fred was predeceased by his loving wife of 38 years, Ursula, his oldest daughter Susan and twin brother Joachim. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Christine and Jim, his grandson Jake, sister Elisabeth and second wife Theresia.

Prayer service to be held on Thursday, December 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Parish, 6350 Nanaimo St, Vancouver, BC. Funeral service to be held at Corpus Christi Parish on Friday, December 15 at 10:30 a.m.

Wake to follow at the Vancouver Alpen Club, 4875 Victoria Dr, Vancouver from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The burial will follow at Gardens of Gethsemani, 15800 32nd Ave, Surrey, BC.
