With heavy hearts, we share the news of Frank John Barac's passing, which came peacefully in the presence of his family. Frank, a devoted husband for 51 years to Joyce, is survived by his children Nicole, Karen, and Shelley (Jeff), and his grandchildren Brayden and Parker, who will always cherish the love and guidance he gave them.
Frank’s life was deeply fulfilling, enriched by his family and many meaningful experiences. His roots ran deep in the East End, where he formed lifelong bonds and created treasured memories. He carried that spirit with him through his years at Britannia Secondary, UBC, and into his teaching days in 100 Mile House. For 30 years, Frank served with dedication at Canada Post, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues throughout his career.
Frank's warmth and kindness touched everyone around him. His extended family and close friends will miss him dearly. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the compassionate teams at Richmond General Hospital and the Salvation Army Rotary Hospice for their exceptional care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Salvation Army Rotary Hospice in Richmond. Frank will forever be remembered with deep love and gratitude by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
