It’s with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we said goodbye to Frank DuPlessis, known by many as Dad or Grandpa Frank. He passed away on Sunday, October 27th, 2019 at George Derby Care Centre in Burnaby, BC.

Frank was a caring and thoughtful man, always wanting to help out and be a part of any project. Grandpa Frank helped raise his two beautiful granddaughters, being there for them whenever they needed him and treating them like queens.

Frank lived a simple life, not asking for much, but always giving whatever he had to those he loved. He loved flowers and would bring a new potted plant home whenever he saw one that caught his eye. Frank was curious and could always figure things out, even surprising us over this past year with capturing photos of the hummingbirds in our yard with his new camera and printing them off with his Mac computer.

Frank devoted many years to Scouting, and always spoke fondly of those years. Christmas was a special season for Frank as it brought him tremendous joy spending time with the family and helping with the family Christmas display.

His warm heart and kindness will be missed by everyone that knew him. Frank is survived by his son, Joel, daughter in law Sandra, and treasured granddaughters, Amanda and Nicole.

Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Kearney Burnaby Chapel, 4715 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC.

May you rest in peace, dear father, until we meet again. We love you Grandpa Frank!
