Francschina (Franca) Gambetese

Francschina (Franca) Gambetese of Burnaby, passed away on March 9, 2025.

Franca was born in Spezzano Piccolo, Italy on October 24, 1930. She moved to Canada as a young girl and spent most of her life in the Lower Mainland. She worked as a clerk for CPR Telegraph her entire working life.

Franca was a woman of faith and was very involved with St. Jude's Parish.

Franca is predeceased by her sisters Flo and Vivian and survived by her sister Mary and many nieces, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Prayers will be offered at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at St. Jude's Parish 3078 Renfrew Street, Vancouver.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at St. Jude’s Parish.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Parish & Shrine.
