A life well lived, with love, laughter and song our dear Dad gently left this earth as kindly as he came, to join the love of his life, Assuntina, his beautiful wife of 70 years. He passed away peacefully being serenaded by his Neapolitan music playing in the background.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by son Carmine (Adele) their children Francesco, Stefano, daughter Ingrid (Carlo) their children Gianluca, Isabella, Samantha, Cody, and daughter Rina (Richard) their children Sofia, Olivia, Sebastian, Emma and Breanna. Predeceased by his parents Carmine and Maddalena Renzullo, his wife Maria Assunta, Rina (sister) (Giovanni) Corrado. His sister-in-law Nina (Fred), brother-in-law, Tony (Letizia), and sister-in-law Ella (Carmelo), their beautiful families, and extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends in Canada & Italy.

Francesco took great pleasure in everyone’s company.  He was always so interested and proud of peoples’ accomplishments.  He engaged in every and any kind of conversation.  Family and friends were everything to our Dad. Because of his endearing and sincere personality our dad enjoyed long lasting friendships and many coffee dates with his buddies on Hastings Street while waiting for Suzie Q to finish work at Bianca Maria.  He had an incredible love for music and his favorite soccer team Napoli.  He entertained us daily in song and compared himself to Pavarotti as though we were his audience applauding to the day he died.  Dad was always so proud of his grandchildren taking pleasure in hearing about every detail of their lives. Having attained a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Napoli our Dad had a passion for life long learning.

A life well celebrated at 103, our dad never ceased to amaze us with his grace. Thank you for being such a beautiful role model and showing such kindness to everyone. You were well read, very forgiving, funny and enjoyed your appetite immensely.  You would remind us daily that “your wife was a very good cook”.  Thank you, Dad, for your fried potatoes and eggs every Friday night growing up. We will be missing you forever and a day. We take comfort in knowing that you will be joining the love of your life.  Mom, Francino is home.
