Rev. John Brioux passed away on May 24, 2017 at Burrard ECG Services Clinic, Vancouver, BC.

Fr. Brioux was born July 12, 1942 in Peterborough, ON. He was Ordained to the Priesthood in the Congregation of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, May 25, 1974 in Ottawa ON.

Fr. Brioux is survived by three sisters, Mary Brioux, Regina (Robert) Juneau, Valerie (Joseph) Forte; and two brothers, Ramon (Yvonne) Brioux and Christopher (Margaret) Brioux, all of Ottawa, ON. He is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Marguerite (nee Sullivan) Brioux.

Services:
- Viewing and Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, May 31 – 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Parish, 424 West Esplanade, North Vancouver, BC
- Prayer Service on Thursday, June 1 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Augustine’s Parish, 2028 West 7th Avenue, Vancouver, BC.
- Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 2 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Parish, 2028 West 7th Avenue, Vancouver, BC.
- Interment will be at the Oblate Cemetery in Mission, BC.
