Elsie Lilian Lockhart (95) passed away peacefully on October 5, 2023.

Born June 18, 1928, in Vancouver, BC, an only child to Gustav and Judit Hill.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest James Lockhart.

Together they raised 4 children, Susan (Michael), David (Therese), Steven (Mirella) and Cathy (Daniel).

She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother.

Elsie was a member of the Eastern Star, Nile, Job’s Daughters and Native Daughters.

She is lovingly remembered by her many friends and family. She was beautiful, strong and independent and will be greatly missed, including by her Swedish cousins, Mats and Monika and Hans and Monica and their families.

A Celebration of Life for family and close friends will be held at Kearney Funeral Services 219-6th St. New Westminster on October 24 at 1pm.
