Marianne passed away on Sunday, 4 June. She is predeceased by her father Audy Sullivan, her mother June Sullivan and her stepfather Joe Costain, and she is lovingly remembered by her husband James Janzen, daughter Katie (Nat), brother Frank Sullivan, stepmother Cherry Sullivan and a large extended family.
Marianne was born in Scarborough, Ontario but moved to Coquitlam as a child and spent most of her adult life in New Westminster (many people knew her as the “book mending” lady” at New Westminster Public Library. She was passionate about community involvement, serving on the Parent Advisory Committee and Arts Council for many years as well as volunteering at the United Church. She will always be remembered for her generosity and willingness to step up and help in any situation.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday 6 July from 2pm - 4pm at Centennial Lodge in Queen’s Park, New Westminster.
