LEAHY – Eileen Mary

Our lovely Eileen passed away on June 4, 2013 in Langley, B.C.  Her family was with her.

Eileen was born on July 25, 1949 in Vancouver, B.C. and is predeceased by her parents, Gerald and Muriel Leahy and her brother, Edmond (Mont).

Eileen’s love of life and her selfless generosity will be greatly missed by her family – her brother Gerry (Karen), brother Rob (Kathy) sister Cathy (Dennis) and her sister Mary (Dennis), her 10 nieces and nephews and her 8 great nieces and nephews.  Eileen will also be missed by her many, many friends.  Eileen graduated from St. Patrick’s High School in Vancouver, B.C. in 1967, lived in the Vancouver area for many years and then moved to Langley 15 years ago.

Prayers for Eileen will be held at St. Nicholas Catholic Church 20675 87th Avenue, Langley, B.C. on Monday, June 10th, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated, by Fr. John McCarthy, for Eileen on Tuesday, June 11th, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
