Dr. Aquilino Banaag Posadas, 66, of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, passed away on April 10, 2024. Aquilino, also known as Adong or Linus, was born in San Carlos City, Pangasinan, Philippines, in 1957 to Maura and Teodorico Posadas. Aquilino cherished his upbringing in San Carlos City, where he enjoyed a joyful and enriching childhood.

After his education at a Catholic Seminary High School in Binmaley, Aquilino's passion for medicine led him to earn his medical degree. His dedication to serving his community as a compassionate and skilled physician in Pangasinan was truly inspiring. He left a significant mark in the field before embarking on a new chapter in North America.

Dr. Posadas will be remembered as a gentle, kind-hearted soul with a great sense of humour. His soft-spoken demeanour and genuine care profoundly impacted all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever be cherished by those whose lives he touched, leaving a void that can never be filled.

In addition to his immediate family, Aquilino leaves behind close family friends who will deeply mourn his absence and the warmth of his friendship.

Aquilino is survived by his oldest brother, three sisters, nephews, and nieces. He is reunited in eternal peace with his parents, two sisters and youngest brother.

Funeral services will be held at St. Monica’s Parish, 12011 Woodhead Road, Richmond, B.C., on Monday, April 22nd. Viewing will start at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST). Prayers will begin at 4:30 p.m., and  Mass at 6:00 p.m. Live streaming will be available from 2:00-7:00 p.m. PST.
