It is with great sadness that the family of Doug Dean announces his peaceful passing.   He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Anne; his sons Gary (Barb) and Bryan; grandsons Rob and Bill (Carol); two great granddaughters Claire and Maren; brother Bob (Norma) and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.   Doug was born in New Westminster February 1925 where he lived until 1950 when he moved his young family to the wilderness of Burnaby.   Known for his love of family, friends, boating, skiing and flying he will be missed by all.   The family wishes to thank Peace Arch Hospital for their care and compassion.   In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation.   Following a private interment, funeral services will be held at Columbia Bowell Funeral Chapel, 219 Sixth Street, New Westminster on Friday May 25th 2012 at 2pm.
