Doris was born in Stepney (London) England on August 11, 1928.
She emigrated to Vancouver, Canada, Easter 1957.
Doris survived the London Blitz at age 17, she narrowly escaped a V2 rocket blast.
At the age of 14, she started work as a seamstress in London and continued as a seamstress until her retirement from Vancouver Garments.
Doris is predeceased by her husband George. Survived by her son Jim (Leslie), grandsons David and Graeme (Shara-Lyn), and great-grandchildren Jason and Samantha.
