Kennett, Doris Helen
1918 – 2011

Doris passed away peacefully on October 27, 2011 with her loving family by her side.  She had a full and cherished life filled with nurturing her children and their spouses - Joan and Herb, Bernice and Chuck, Rick and Jacquie, Lewis and Hazel, Laura and Ron, Don and Trudy, her grandchildren - Russ, Steven, Ken, Linda, Herb, Susan, Gord, Jim, Yolanda, David, Daniel, Jonathan, Janis, Jeff, Jessica, Jennifer and Lee and her great grandchildren.  She worked as both a professional baker and as a financial officer, volunteered at the Oakridge Seniors Centre, gardened, and travelled the world.  She touched many hearts through her 93 years.  She leaves this life to join her loving husband, Esmond Gilbert Kennett, who has been patiently waiting for 19 years.

She was remembered and mourned by friends and family at a gathering on October 30, 2011. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to St. Jude’s Anglican Home.

She will be dearly missed.
