In loving memory of Donald Neil Beaton, born in Delia, Alberta on May 25th, 1960, a cherished husband, devoted father, and beloved grandfather, who passed away February 28, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents Neil and Joan and brother Clinton.
With our hearts full of love and gratitude, we remember the beautiful life he lived and the profound impact he had on all who knew him. His love for his family knew no bounds, and his unwavering support and dedication were constants that guided us through life. His legacy of love, humour and service will forever echo in our hearts.
His passion for storytelling was infectious, filling every room with laughter and joy. His zest for gardening, maintaining a lawn worthy of a hole at the Masters, and his love for palm trees reflected his appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
Don served as a board member for the Seniors Housing community in Cloverdale, dedicating the last ten years of his life to managing the buildings there. His commitment to improving the lives of seniors exemplified his compassionate nature and deep sense of responsibility to his community.
To his wife, Donna, his three children, Sarah (Jordan), Jessica (Dylan), Adam (Jessica), and his seven grandchildren, Brayden, Ryland, Hunter, Eva, Lane, Tenley, and Adelynn, Don was not only a source of strength and wisdom but also a source of endless love and laughter. His memory will live on in the stories we share, the lessons we've learned, and the love we continue to give.
A celebration of Don’s life will be held on March 23, 2024, 12pm noon, at Northview Golf & Country Club (6857 168th Street, Surrey). We invite all those who knew and loved Don to join us in honouring his memory and sharing stories of his remarkable life.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that donations be made in Don’s memory to the
Langley Hospice
, an organization that provided compassionate care and support to Don and his family during his final days:

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we take solace in the knowledge that Don’s love will continue to guide us each day. He may no longer be with us in person, but his spirit will forever remain a cherished part of our lives.
To our much loved Don, Dad, Grandpa, you will be deeply missed, but your love and legacy will live on in our hearts for eternity.
