Donald Weylie Hudspeth

A good man, Donald Weylie Hudspeth (Don) passed away Jan 7, 2025. Don was born in Hamilton, Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents, and by his older brothers Ted and Robert; survived by his brother Murray (Arlene) and his sister Lynne (William) and cousins Bev, Bruce and Brian (Ellen).

Grieving his loss is his wife of thirty-four years Chantal, along with his children, Todd and Tammie and their mother, his step daughters Loraine (Alan) and Carla (Brad). Don leaves behind eleven beloved grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Mourning his loss are sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Don spent many years in Industrial sales and consulting for the pulp and paper industry, retiring from Honeywell in 2001. 

Don spent his final two years at Buchanan Lodge. Many thanks to the wonderful staff who provided kind and loving care. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11 am at Kearney Funeral Services 219 6th Street, New Westminster. In lieu of flowers donations to Parkinson Society of British Columbia or Alzheimer’s Society of British Columbia are greatly appreciated.
