Dirk Post passed away on May 1, 2024 at Peace Portal Seniors Village in Surrey, BC.

Born in 1938 in Utrecht, the Netherlands, Dirk came to Canada at 16 years old. He loved his new home and built a full life here, marrying Diana, his loving wife of 55 years; establishing a family; working 31 years in transit operations with BC Hydro and BC Transit and spending a happy retirement indulging his love of travel, music and craftsmanship.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Brian (Lianna) and Mike (Sarah), and his three grandchildren, Carson, Julia and Lara. He will be dearly missed by them and by his many friends and family around the world.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024 at 11:00am at Good Shepherd Church, located at 2250 150 Street, Surrey BC.
