Diana passed away peacefully in Vancouver on Jan 8, 2020. Diana believed in growing compassion, courage and care in all that we do. She followed her heart, and adventures took her to Japan, the Solomon Islands, Alaska and Mexico before settling home in Vancouver where she contributed generously to her community.
Diana was passionate about helping others realize their full potential. She brought clarity to individuals and teams throughout her 50-year professional career at UBC and in working directly with organizations.
She loved her family and friends. Her kindness resonated in each interaction and she faced life with extraordinary resilience and optimism. She was an inspiring mentor who helped so many people to expand their careers and realize their dreams.
Diana was predeceased by her father (Serge), her mother (Adina). She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Deena Boeck (Knut), grandchildren Mia, Zara and Bo (Svenja), her brother Jim (Beverly) and niece Deirdre, and her stepson Justin and his children Samuel, Jami, Hope and Savannah.
Ceremony of Remembrance will be held at Brock House (3875 Point Grey Rd) on Sat. Feb 8 at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers please donate to The Callanish Society in Vancouver or Kidney Cancer Canada.
