Accomplishments

Dave was in the Canadian Army for 13 years, and attained the rank of Master Corporal, he worked at Rogers Cable TV for 15 years and was a member of the I.B.E.W., and in his later years he worked at Westshore Terminals until he retired in 2011.  He volunteered at the Safer Community Office and was the Block Watch Captain for the VPD Block Watch Program until today.

Personal Traits

Dave loved his family, his kitty Lily and his Ducati.  In his earlier days he enjoyed camping, fishing and trips to Hawaii.   He faithfully rode his treasured Ducati motorcycle in the summer months.   He enjoyed his TV, in particular wrestling and hockey, and he loved going to the Army and Navy Club every Friday night.  Oatmeal cookies and a coke were always a favorite snack.

He was kind, funny, quiet, honorable and selfless, and he had a real soft spot in his heart for his kids, his grandchildren and his great grandchildren.

See you sometime soon Day Day.  xxoo
