David Gordon Griffiths

Dave grew up and lived most of his life in New Westminster. He worked in the grocery business for many years, and he remained interested in all things food after he retired. He liked to shop, compare prices, cook and of course, eat good food. He liked cooking dinner including all the holiday dinners for the whole family. He experimented with baking bread, and he never cooked or baked exactly the same thing twice. Long walks, cycling and household renovations were his other main interests. He passed away after a short struggle with cancer. He will be missed by his siblings Janice, Ruth, Geoffrey and Elizabeth Griffiths and his nieces Jodi, Emily, Rebecca and Sophia Rogers.

 A celebration of Dave’s life will be held on January 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Columbia-Bowell Chapel 219 Sixth Street New Westminster.
