Born September 12, 1945 in Edinburgh, Scotland, Darryl passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday April 10, 2019. Predeceased by both his parents. Charles Amos and Margaret Amos, and leaves behind his sister, Arlene (Chris) Connor, of Goderich, Ontario; two daughters, Mirkka (Mark) Putnam of Sudbury, Ontario and Karina (Stephen) Trenouth of New Westminster, BC and three grandchildren, Jason and Jonée Putnam, and Mackenzie Trenouth.
Darryl worked for Children's Aid Society (Sudbury, Burlington and most of his career in Hamilton-Wentworth) for 30 years and later retired and moved to BC. Darryl became an avid gardener in his retirement.
In lieu of funeral services, and to honour Darryl's character, we ask that all who wish to participate make a donation to Diabetes Canada, Autism Canada, BC Cancer Agency or Tim Horton Children's Foundation. All have impacted Darryl's life through himself or his loved ones.
