Concepcion passed away peacefully on February 17, 2018 at her home in Burnaby, BC at the age of 98. Nanay Conching (as she was known to many) was born on November 27, 1919 to parents, Lucas & Matilde Banag. Nanay will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Renato (Michel) and Jose Isidro, Jr. and daughters, Carmelita (Nunilon) Mariano, Cecilia (Arthur) Igna and Dolores (Wayne) Henderson. She is survived by her sister, Segundina Munoz and was predeceased by her husband, Jose Isidro, Sr. in 2009; daughter Loreta Isidro in 1998 and siblings, Asuncion Serrano, Antonia Reyes and Gertrudes Manalili. She will be sadly missed by her numerous nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
