Schollen, Clara Irene
(nee Bollinger)

Died August 23, 2013 after a heroic 21 year struggle with Parkinson’s Disease.  Clara was born on Dec. 16, 1932 in Watrous, Sask. to Mark and Katie.  She leaves behind her devoted husband of 60 years, John, daughter Denise (Tim) and daughter-in-law Janice; 9 grandchildren Aaron (Stephanie), Alex, Emily, Marcus, Leah, Genevieve, Aidan, Kristian, Colleen.  Clara was predeceased by her son David (2009) and grandson Kieran (1995).  She will also be missed by many beloved relatives and friends especially Donna Sweet, Marie and Chuck Trainor.  The family wish to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Ken Appleby and Morgan Place for their exceptional care of Clara.  Prayers will be said on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. with Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernadette’s Parish 6543 – 132 Street Surrey, BC.  Interment will follow in Gardens of Gethsemanie 15800 – 32 Avenue Surrey, BC.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Signal Hill (www.thesignalhill.com) or United for Life BC (www.unitedforlifebc.ca) would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.kearneyfs.com.
