Christie passed away peacefully on Nov 27th, 2018 in Surrey, B.C. at the age of 79 after a short and courageous battle with cancer.
Christie is predeceased by his brothers Valentine ( Sylvia ), Menino ( Amalia ) and his sister Julia ( Chico ) Desouza. Christie is survived and will be lovingly remembered by Angela his wife of 51 years, daughter Cheryl ( Filipe ) Vaz, son Conrad and grandsons Mark-Christopher, Austin, Donovan and Liam Vaz. Christie has positively touched the lives of so many friends and relatives all over the world – he will be sadly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Bernadette Parish at 12:00PM on Saturday December 1 with a Reception to follow in the Parish hall.
