After a long and healthy life Lottie passed away peacefully on January 6th 2011 a month shy of her 103rd birthday.  She was predeceased by her brothers John and George and is survived by her sister Kathleen (Kay) Lobdell.  She was a beloved auntie to her nieces and nephews, taking them on many adventures.  Lottie thrived on doing things for others and was a truly joyful person.  She loved to travel and was a bit of a gambler, but always knew when to quit.  She was also a life-long member of the Rebecca Lodge.  Though she never married, she filled her life with friends and family.  We will miss you Lottie.
Lottie's family wishes to thank all the staff at Willingdon Care Centre for the loving care they have provided to Lottie over the last 5 and a half years.  The funeral will be held on January 12th 2011 at Colombia-Bowell Chapel (219 6th Street New Westminster) at 2:00 P.M.  In lieu of flowers Lottie requested that donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
