Charles Nathaniel James was born in Westmorland, Jamaica Dec 31-1925.
He grew up there with his beloved brother Clifford. He made his way to Birmingham England in 1963 where he met his life long partner and wife Ann James and they married in 1966. They worked hard to eked out a living in Birmingham by setting up a shop but ultimately decided to emigrate to Canada in 1968. Charles started out in Thompson, Manitoba and Ann joined him shortly thereafter. From there they moved to Calgary, Alberta and then moved to Vancouver, BC in 1975 where they permanently settled and made a home. They both worked at the Vancouver General Hospital and retired to pursue their passions. They loved bowling, golfing and travelling and made many close friends.
Charles took pride in his health and loved to keep active and fit. He will be very much missed by family and friends, especially Fay and Russell Woodward. He is now with his loving and devoted wife Ann. Rest in peace Pop. Our Dad and Grandad.
Charles was predeceased by his wife Ann James and brother Clifford James.
