It is with heavy hearts and immense sadness that we announce that our Carmen, beloved wife of Eugen, beloved mother of Andrei and Lisa, and friend of many people who had the privilege to know her, passed away peacefully after a very long and courageous battle with cancer.

A smart and peace-loving human, she had endless wisdom while remaining a child at heart. Passionate lover of nature, she often found peace in her endless walks in the city parks and forest trails. She loved the yearly family trips on the West Coast while immersing herself in the beauty of the ocean songs, forest silence, sunrise and sunset lights, eternal grace of nature.

She loved animals and the animals loved her. The most capricious cats wanted to sit on her lap and the most ferocious dogs rushed to lick her hand. They knew when they have met a wonderful soul.

Carmen made an instant connection with people, who liked her at first sight. She had an immense imagination and she enjoyed talking with people about universal powers, how and why we were born, the meaning of our journey on this Earth, and where we go after we leave it. She hoped that we all become part of the Collective Consciousness which watches and guides our families and future generation towards a better humanity. Until we all will meet again!

Carmen’s Celebration of Life will be held at Kearney Columbia-Bowell Chapel (219 6th St., New Westminster) on October 28th at 10 am, followed by a reception from 11 am – 1:30 pm. For the reception, please click here to RSVP.

Carmen’s urn will be laid to rest at Fraser Cemetery (100 Richmond St., New Westminster) at 2 pm, the same day.
