Calvin Richard Befus

We are heartbroken at the loss of Calvin Richard Befus. He was a man of integrity, kindness, and boundless energy. Calvin leaves behind a legacy of love, adventure, and unwavering devotion.

Survived by his wife Susan, sons Colin and Calvin Jr., stepsons Chris, and Jeff. grandchildren, Axel, Monty, and Levi, (their mother Lisa), Mimi and Ellie, (their mother Kara), and Nigel. Special friends, Alison, Kinley, and Nathan. Calvin had many passions. A natural athlete, he thrived in competition, always pushing himself to be the best. His adventurous spirit led him to the skies where he fulfilled a lifelong dream by earning his pilot’s license. He enjoyed hiking, hockey, and golf. His years at work were with Telus in Calgary.

Above all Cal’s heart belonged to his family. He adored his grandchildren taking immense pride in their accomplishments and delight in their laughter. His guidance and endless encouragement will forever remain with them, shaping their lives in ways they may not yet fully realize. Cal’s presence was a gift to all who knew him, and though he is no longer by our side his love and spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
