Brendan M Moss, born in Dublin, Ireland, passed away at his home one month shy of his 93rd birthday. Dad met his one true love while in their teens and married her in 1954. They emigrated to Vancouver, in 1956. Dad arrived in November and promptly skied Grouse Mountain the next day. Mom followed one month later arriving Christmas Eve. A son was born in 1958 and a daughter in 1959.
Dad was a lifelong lover of all things mountain. He walked and climbed the hills of Ireland with school chum Pat McMahon. Skied and climbed all over Europe and Canada. He was also an enthusiastic member of the BCMC, including 2 years as president from 1968-1970. He worked for Eatons, then in Insurance and finally as an Antiquarian Book and Map dealer based in Gastown. Making many lifelong friends along the way.

Dad loved to tell stories, often starting with, "there's an old Irish saying". He also enjoyed a good Gin Martini, and his newspaper.
In sadness, he leaves behind his oldest and dearest friends Roy and June Slakov.
Preceded in death by his cherished son Rory in 1985 and beloved wife of 65 years, Colette in 2019. Left to miss him and mourn his passing his daughter Karen.
