Surrounded by laughter, chatter, and song, Bill took his last breath, with his wife of 57 years, Irene, by his side - just as she always had been. His two daughters, three grandkids, and son-in-law celebrated and honored him until he was ready to ride off into the sunset.
In keeping with Bill’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. Instead, take a moment to hold him in your thoughts and share a fond memory here.
In lieu of flowers or cards, whistle a Hank Williams tune, play a game of cards, throw on your favorite baseball cap, or, in true Bill fashion, call someone a “dough-head” and tell them “go jump in a lake.”
