With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our dearly loved mother Beverley Anne Erickson (nee Phelan). Beverley was born in New Westminster, BC on January 12, 1929 and passed away on April 11, 2011. Beverley was predeceased by her husband Kurt Erickson and brother Gerry Phelan. Beverley is survived by her daughter Mia (Dan) Sorge, son Chris (Karla) Erickson, Brother Bill (Joyce) Phelan, companion Curt Fjeld, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Bev also had many fond memories of her friends at the Birch Bay & Cloverdale legions.
Beverley spent her early years working in Canada’s far north where she met her husband Kurt. Bev moved back to the lower mainland to raise her children and pursue her career as a controller for such companies as Basarab Construction, B&B Contracting and Harrigan Rentals. In her retirement years Bev got to enjoy her passion of travel visiting many countries in Europe and South America.
