Ben passed away on father’s day with his family at his bedside. He is survived by his wife Adele of 52 years, sons Kevin, and Ronald (Laila), grandchildren Dylan, Brooklyn, and Austen, brother Reggie (Doreen), sisters Cynthia, Joan (Esmond) Bowman, Jackie (Michael) King, and Sonia, plus several nieces and nephews.

Ben was born in Barbados, West Indies and came to Vancouver in 1957 to attend UBC. He graduated with BSc. He taught Physics and Math at Balmoral, Handsworth, Sutherland in North Van.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 22, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 3778 West 28th Avenue, Vancouver, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to BC Cancer Foundation, Salvation Army or Food Bank would be appreciated.
