It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother on February 11, 2022, at the age of 83.

Mom was pre-deceased by her first husband Lawrance Whitehouse and her second husband Neil Hodgkinson, her sisters Nona and Beverly, her brother Fred and her parents Fred and Annie.

She is survived by her daughters Kary (Robert) and Lynda (Tony), son David (Amber), grandchildren Ryan (Natasha), Megan and Addison, great-grandchildren Landon, Payton and Keagan, nieces and nephews and Teddy her beloved cat, who she absolutely loved.

Mom was born and raised and lived most of her life in New Westminster, B.C.

At a young age, she left school to help support her family and worked at Belkins Paper.  In later years, she worked at care homes like George Derby delivering snacks to the residents.

She loved going to Reno and trying her luck at local casinos. She also made handmade dolls and Teddy bears. She was an artist and always enjoyed a good love story.

She loved Chanel No. 5 and Nina Ricci L'air Du temps and always a bright pink lipstick.  She took great pride in how she looked.

She was born in the depression, lived her youth in the days of rock ‘n roll and poodle skirts.  She drove her boyfriend’s car in the powder puff Derby and loved dancing to the jukebox.  She was beautiful.

At her request, there will be no service.
