Clemens - Anne E (Hope)
May 17, 1936 - June 14, 2009
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Anne Clemens (nee Hope) on June 14, 2009. After a courageous eight month battle, she passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Anne will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 29 years, Bill, children David, Deanna (Brian), Laurene (Ernie), and close family friend Gaylin Chavarie. Grandchildren David, Aimee, Nick, Bryce, Connor, Brock, Colton, and Great Granddaughter Danyca.
Anne was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta, raised her children in Edmonton, and after relocating several times around Alberta got tired of the snow and chose to make Vancouver her home. She was a wonderful, caring, giving person who will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her step children, extended family, and dear friends.
The family would like to extend our most sincere and heartfelt thanks to the staff of St. Paul’s for taking such great care of our Mom during her long battle. We know she was fond of you all.
A celebration of Anne’s life and internment will take place in Edmonton, Alberta on July 3, 2009.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation will be greatly appreciated. St. Paul’s Foundation, Room 178, 1081 Burrard Street, Vancouver BC, V6Z 1Y6, or online at www.helpstpauls.com.
