It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Nowak on January 19th, 2022, at the age of 83.
Anna was born in 1938 in Kraczkowa, Poland. She met her husband Edward there and they were married in 1959 before she moved to Vancouver in 1960. Known far and wide for her exceptional cooking and baking, Anna shared her love through her food.
She leaves to mourn her daughter, Maria (Chris); grandchildren, Greg and Katie; son Richard; grandchildren, Alex and Thomas, son Henry; grandchildren, Adam and Tony. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward.
Prayers will be offered Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 10:30 am at St. Casimir’s Church 1187 E 27th Ave, Vancouver, Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Ocean View Burial Park.
The family would like to thank the staff at Kopernik Lodge for the care they provided over the last few years.
